Students have been learning how to use Photo Booth on the laptops. They will use this program to make videos of themselves speaking French. Then they can upload the videos to IRIS. For our first video of the year, students have been asked to count as high as they can in French. Grade 1 students should be able to count to 10. Some students may be proficient to 20. Grade 2 students should be counting beyond 20. By the end of the year, a grade 2 student should be counting to 59 with no errors. Grade 3 students are reviewing the numbers to 59. By the end of the year, a grade 3 student should be counting to 69 with no errors. Visit the Number page on the French webpage to practice counting in French. If you are stuck on one number, here is a helpful chart. You can hover your mouse over any number and hear the pronunciation. Use the gear icon in the top right corner to change the level. | Have you had a chance to practice counting in French. Visit the French webpage by clicking on the above image. |
